For a sixth year, girls looking for “the” dress — whether it be simple black, glitzy, glamorous, fitted or flowing — had a wide selection to choose from at the annual www.feeltimes.com giveaway. More than 20 girls had already found their perfect dress and accompanying accessories during the first hour of the event, organized by Leslie Taylor and her daughter Annie, 21, and Wanda Hutchings and her daughter Amanda, 21.Some ventured out of the dressing room in their finds to a chorus of “oohs” and “aahs.”“That’s the best part,” Amanda said.

Many had an idea of the style and color they were looking for and most were able to find it among the racks of hundreds of donated gowns. The store had new Homecoming Dresses with tags still attached in addition to like-new or sample dresses. This year, Bon Bon Belle, a dress store in Burlington, and the Sigma, Sigma, Sigma sorority at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, donated a wide selection.“Most of the time they are only worn once,” Annie said.
